Envo is an independent iOS app that presents the daily programme of United Nations meetings — official meetings, informal consultations and side events — grouped by time, with rooms and closed-session markers. The schedule is free; Envo Pro adds calendar sync, push alerts for meeting times and room changes, and a private calendar feed.

Frequently asked questions

How do I restore a purchase?

Open Profile → Envo Pro to bring up the paywall, then tap Restore purchases at the bottom of the screen. This re-checks your Apple Account and re-applies any subscription or lifetime purchase you already own — including on a new device or after reinstalling. Use the same Apple Account you bought with; purchases are tied to it, not to your Envo sign-in.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Apple handles all Envo billing, so cancellation happens on Apple's side: iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Envo. If you have Envo Pro you can also reach the same place from Profile → Manage subscription in the app. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and refunds are issued by Apple under their standard policies — we can't process them directly.

How do I delete my account, and what does that remove?

Profile → Delete account. It removes your profile (name, duty station, language, the country you represent), your saved meetings, and any push notification tokens from that account. Deletion is immediate and permanent; there is no undo and we can't restore a deleted account. The app keeps working afterwards — signing in is optional, and the schedule, offline access and My Meetings all work signed out. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; do that separately in iOS Settings as described above.

The schedule looks wrong, or a meeting is missing.

Envo mirrors the public Journal of the United Nations. If a meeting is missing, listed in the wrong room, or shown at the wrong time, it is almost always because that is how it appears in the Journal — Envo does not edit, add or correct entries, and corrections have to come from the UN's own publication. Room changes and cancellations announced on the floor also reach the app only once the Journal reflects them, which can be after the fact. For anything time-sensitive — a closed session especially — verify against journal.un.org before you walk. If you think Envo is displaying something differently from the Journal itself, that is a bug: send us the date, duty station and meeting and we'll look at it.

Why only New York and Geneva?

Because those are the only duty stations the Journal of the United Nations publishes. We checked the other main duty stations against the source: it returns zero meetings for Vienna and Nairobi on every date. Rather than ship two empty tabs, Envo covers what actually exists. If the Journal begins publishing further duty stations, we'll add them.

How does the premium calendar feed work?

Envo Pro gives you a private calendar feed of your saved meetings. Open Profile → Calendar feed, then either tap "Add to Apple Calendar" or copy the link and subscribe from Google Calendar (Other calendars → + → From URL) or Outlook (Add calendar → Subscribe from web). Your calendar app refreshes on its own schedule, so saved meetings, room changes and cancellations flow in without you doing anything.

The link is long and unguessable, and anyone who has it can read your saved meetings — treat it like a password. If you ever need to revoke it, tap Regenerate link on the same screen: the old link stops working everywhere it was added, and you re-subscribe with the new one.

Do I need an account to use Envo?

No. The daily schedule, offline access and My Meetings work without signing in. An account (a one-time code sent to your email — no password) syncs your saved meetings across devices and is required for the Pro features that run on our servers, such as push alerts and the calendar feed.
